Nation’s Top Female Privacy Leaders Converge in D.C. to Discuss Narrowing Gender Pay Gap and Privacy’s Level Playing Field

New IAPP Survey Reveals That Women in Privacy Reach Similar Career Heights as Men

WHAT: The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource, and The Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT), a champion of global online civil liberties and human rights that drives policy outcomes, will co-host a presentation of newly released results of IAPP’s 2015 Privacy Professional Salary Survey followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with top privacy leaders regarding the role of women in the privacy profession.

 

  • Amid a growing public debate on the gender gap, the results of the survey reveal that women are similarly compensated and reach similar career heights as men in the privacy and data governance fields.
