The IAPP, in conjunction with award sponsor HP, have announced a call for entries for the 2006 Privacy Innovation Award. The prestigious award, now in its fourth year, honors organizations that demonstrate effective integration of privacy protection throughout their entire business processes or leadership in privacy technology development.

The winners of the 2006 HP/IAPP Innovation Awards will be announced on October 19 in Toronto at the IAPP Privacy Academy, which runs at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel Oct. 17-20. The three award categories are: large organization (more than 5,000 employees); small organization (less than 5,000 employees); and innovative privacy technology. Private and public sector organizations are eligible to apply in any category.

Nominations close on September 29.
