The most popular Facebook applications have been providing advertisers and tracking companies with users' identifiable information, The Wall Street Journal reports. "The issue affects tens of millions of Facebook app users, including people who set their profiles to Facebook's strictest privacy settings," the report states. Meanwhile, German ministers are criticizing the social network for a glitch that potentially allowed access to users' "Friends" lists, and a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in California alleges Facebook violated state and federal law by sending user data to advertisers when users clicked on their ads. The company has discontinued the practice, the report states. "Privacy, I would say, is the number one most important thing for our company, and we're always listening to feedback," said Facebook's Randi Zuckerberg.
