Noting that a privacy policy should “always be reviewed by counsel,” Khazzam offers a list of 10 considerations for organizations looking to write a policy in compliance with Quebec privacy laws, including that policies must be clear and understandable and detail how an organization stores, collects and uses data. He adds, “Make sure that your privacy policy is brought to the attention of users and is consented to.”
