Many great universities have come together to put some of their courses on the Internet, including the University of Washington, University of Michigan, Stanford University and many others. I am constantly looking for great topics relating to privacy, and the course that was offered by the University of Michigan was outstanding.

During this past election cycle, was anyone worried about digital voting problems? Digital election fraud or errors? This was an eye-opening course and detailed digital voting machines from an engineering standpoint as well as from a hacker's perspective.

The University of Michigan’s Securing Digital Democracy course is offered through the Computer Science and Engineering Department and taught by Assistant Prof. J. Alex Halderman. It is free to anyone that registers at www.coursera.org.

The course was very insightful and would be a great addition to real world-applicable privacy training.
