Krebs on Security reports that restaurant chain P.F. Chang’s is investigating a potential credit card data breach. Thousands of newly stolen cards went up for sale on rescator.cso—an underground webstore that sells stolen credit card data—and according to several banks, a similar batch of cards had all been used at P.F. Chang locations between March and May 19. The Secret Service is investigating, and the company said it will provide an update when more is known. In a separate incident, Paytime has said a breach may have affected as many as 233,000 individuals. Meanwhile, Target continues to make internal adjustments following last year’s data breach, this time hiring a new chief information security officer who previously worked at General Motors.
