The Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) has announced it is launching a multi-stakeholder effort to find innovative solutions to data breach issues. The Common Ground Data Breach Forum will first meet on March 17 and brings together leaders from the CDT’s Internet Privacy Working Group and the Digital Privacy & Security Working Group. The announcement comes a week after the CDT and law firm Jones Day brought together representatives from government, industry and nonprofit organizations.
