Facebook has updated the privacy policies for its advertising companies Atlas and LiveRail “to reflect recently announced new features of these services and to make the policies easier to understand,” Facebook Deputy Chief Privacy Officer Ron Sherman wrote in a post on Monday. The Atlas policy includes “more details of how we receive information from third parties to improve the ads people see,” while the LiveRail policy outlines “how we will use information from mobile devices to deliver more relevant ads” and “explains how we look at ads served across devices and how people interact with those ads,” Sherman writes.
