In a wide-ranging conversation Wednesday, panelists at a Fordham University workshop on “Solving Privacy Around the World” explored the privacy challenges and responsibilities for app developers and startups. At issue was the role and value of privacy policies and whether markets, and not policy, should guide innovation. The Privacy Advisor reports on the panel, which included representatives from the App Developers Alliance, California’s Office of the Attorney General, Dentons and IAC/InterActiveCorp.
