During an event Thursday, Google unveiled a slew of new products and services, some of which aim to bolster security and privacy for users. Bloomberg Business reports users will receive more fingerprint-related features as well as more controls over what data is accessed on their devices. Google will also offer more personalized services through Google Now, is taking a leap into virtual reality and has unveiled Project Brillo, which aims to make it easier for developers to build applications for Internet-of-Things technology such as smart homes. “We hope we can connect devices in a seamless and intuitive way,” said Google Senior Vice President of Products Sundar Pichai.
