A federal circuit court judge has reserved his decision on whether a case involving a group of asylum seekers named in a massive data breach will continue to a full hearing, The Guardian reports. The case involved the names, dates of birth and locations—among other details—of every asylum seeker in a detention facility being posted to the Immigration Department’s website. The immigration department’s counsel said the review processes in place are still being developed but said it was “premature for the asylum seekers to be seeking injunctions and declarations,” the report states.
