National Security Agency (NSA) General Counsel Rajesh De has left the post he's held for the last three years and is headed to private practice at Mayer Brown. He's one of any number of government workers in the privacy space who've now left for stints in private practice. He was at the NSA for six months before the Snowden revelations hit, and the experience has given him some pretty good perspective on what the word "busy" means, he tells The Privacy Advisor. “I really wanted to focus on cyber and data privacy and security issues," he said of his move. "It's an exciting time to do that.”
