Officials from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and other federal agencies as well as two vendors appeared before a House Oversight committee Wednesday to answer questions about the massive breaches of government employee data. A day after a more sober Senate Appropriations hearing, things once again heated up as House representatives grilled OPM leadership about their security precautions and choice of vendor to handle notification and credit monitoring, even at points calling for the resignation of OPM leadership.
