Reed Smith has announced the hiring of Michael O’Neil as a partner in its Chicago office, where he will be a member of the firm’s global regulatory enforcement group, Bloomberg reports. O’Neil comes to the office as the former chairman of the privacy litigation group at DLA Piper. “Michael enjoys a stellar reputation for an outstanding career defending class-action privacy claims,” said the co-chairwoman of Reed Smith’s global regulatory enforcement group.
