VPN Creative reports on suggestions that Amazon Web Services (AWS) could open its newest European data center in Frankfurt. “The move makes sense all recent events considered, and it’s no wonder why Amazon might be trying to move its European storage efforts to a country which has been affected by the NSA leaks more than any other foreign entity since the news first broke in June of 2013,” the report states, suggesting it appears AWS Is making “an effort to move operations in a safer direction” in the wake of last year’s NSA disclosures.
