Wired reports the secrets users are posting to popular anonymous sharing app “Secret” aren’t so secret after all. White hat hacker Ben Caudill needs only a user’s personal e-mail address to uncover which users are posting what to the app, as one Wired reporter recently learned during a casual lunch with Caudill. The hacker is co-founder of Rhino Security Labs and is hoping to qualify for a reward under Secret’s six-month-old bug bounty program. Secret CEO David Byttow said the company has blocked the vulnerability and has begun a “post mortem.”
