TRUSTe has announced the launch of its comprehensive end-to-end data privacy management solution, the TRUSTe Data Privacy Management (DPM) Platform, which includes automated capabilities to assess and manage privacy risks, implement compliance controls and ensure ongoing monitoring. TRUSTe CEO Chris Babel notes, “Developed in consultation with our extensive enterprise customer-base, the new TRUSTe DPM Platform puts privacy professionals in the driver seat giving them full control of data privacy management, automating processes and increasing productivity as they manage their global privacy initiatives from a single dashboard.” Meanwhile, PwC U.S. has announced the expansion of its Data Protection and Privacy practice, citing the recent acquisition of Minnesota Privacy Consultants and Jay Cline, CIPP/US, and the addition of “several highly experienced professionals,” including Ken Mortensen, CIPP/US, CIPP/G, CIPM, Angela Saverice-Rohan, CIPP/US, and Doris Patrick, CIPP/US, CIPP/C, CIPT, CIPM.
