PostMedia News reports that a Commons committee plans to summon departmental officials to testify about the breach but decided HRSDC Minister Diane Finley would not be summoned. The breach has resulted in at least four class-action lawsuits, and those affected, including NDP MP Ruth Ellen Brosseau, are concerned about the threat of identity theft. Meanwhile, CBC News reports that some notifications sent to breach victims have been delivered to the wrong recipients.
