Data Protection Practice 2015, presented by European Parliament Committee on Legal Affairs Deputy Chairman Axel Voss, has been released. The study “analyzes the everyday work of German data protection officers, providing evidence for the efficiency and cost advantages of this model of corporate self-monitoring and making a definitive case for the introduction of company data protection officers throughout Europe,” 2B Advice reports. Other themes in the report include “the work of the regulatory authorities, the support of data protection officers by management and opinions on the main points of the General Data Protection Regulation based on current knowledge.”
