The FBI says it is “close” to discovering who’s behind the Anthem insurance hack, ZDNet reports. The head of the agency’s cyber-criminal branch, Robert Anderson, said it won’t reveal the source of the attack until it’s “absolutely sure.” There’s been much speculation that China is to blame, but Anderson would only say, “I don’t know if it’s China or not.” Although approximately 80 million people were affected by the breach, only a fraction of Anthem’s current and past customers have signed up for the free identity protection and credit monitoring the health insurer is offering.
